The Centre is trialling a new activity which will demonstrate recipes and methods of cooking to minimise waste. You will be able to take part in the preparation and cooking process and take home the dishes made. The session will be run by Barry Hart and Christine Smith.

We would like to see a reduction in waste products by encouraging the community to cook from scratch, meals which are cheaper and healthier than ready-cooked food and reduces the packaging mountain.

We had the first FREE session here at the Centre in May and made breakfast couscous, onion bhajis, fresh pot noodle and lamb and lentil pasta.
