£250,000 needed over 5 years to maintain our community building for over 1000 visitors per week

Looking Forward Appeal

The White Hill Centre is home to several charities, local groups, clubs and organisations for people of all ages – from age 2 at the Pre-School to age 100 at our Mixed Craft class! A large proportion of residents from Chesham and surrounding areas are likely to have passed through our doors at one time or another – for a class, a celebration or an exhibition, or to simply appreciate our Victorian building which is so much a part of town’s landscape.

We need to raise approximately £50,000 each year for five years to maintain this building for now and for future generations.

Please consider supporting our urgent appeal.

How your donations are used

We made a great start in 2017; thanks to donations from members, the public and grants we now have improved seating and a new cooler unit in the Bar, a new projector to connect to laptops, new lighting, new fuseboards, some re-plastered walls and lovely clean drains!

Our efforts are ongoing to keep the centre shipshape for future donations and grants will fund, for example, the refurbishment of the Main Hall. THe Main Hall is used for classes ranging  from Keep gfit to Archery, and is a well-priced venue for holding celebrations or events.

White Hill Centre is run by Chesham and District Community Association, a charitable incorporated organisation . If you can donate any amount we would be most grateful. Please pop into the office, or donate via  the button.

Thanking all our members and visitors for your support of our community centre, Christine Smith, Chair, C&DCA/ White Hill Centre
